Works good allows me to run the smoker without having to eye the gage or meat. I like how the unit magnetizes to metal so I can hang it on the front and sit by the fire a watch it to. Probes hold up well.

I mainly bought this thermometer to calibrate my oven. I got a new stove with a double oven several years ago and it was off horribly. We called in to have it calibrated but the tech didn't even do it right. I went through the headache and expense of buying different thermometers until my brother who works in heat and air told me to get a unit with a probe. I bought one at the store (different brand) and it was off by about 3 degrees from the start. It was the best I found at the time so I dealt with it. It was just a basic digital probe unit. It didn't have preset temps, graphs, or Bluetooth and I think I paid around $20-$30 for it. (Too much) I thought I got the oven all calibrated but I guess I didn't. For the past year or so I knew the top oven wasn't heating up right and the bottom seemed to take longer to cook than I felt was right. It was getting frustrating. I pulled out the store thermometer and was going to start taking down the temps to calibrate them. During one of the cool down times I left it in the oven and when we went to cook dinner it melted the silicone wire cover. So I started shopping for a new one. I found this one. As soon as I got it out if the package I put it in ice water and it was right on the money. I was floored I finally found one that was accurate! Let me tell you the temperature graph on this thing made calibration so easy. I made my own preset temp for 350 and watched the graph. I found my top oven off by about 20 degrees. After the preheat cycle I wrote down the lowest and highest temps. After I got a good average of where it was I adjusted it up till the range was right.I don't need to tell you everything this little thermometer can do because it says it all in the product description. I'm just going to say I was expecting another subpar thermometer from my experience of buying several but was pleasantly surprised. I am glad we melted the old thermometer because I got this one out of it. Also I don't have to worry about this one melting since it is metal. All in all it may not be the cheapest thermometer but trust me when I say you get what you pay for. I am looking at getting another for a dirty santa gift for the grillers, smokers, & campers in the family.

I tested all the probes against my instant read thermometer (IRT) and was within 1-2 degrees. I tested all 6 ports and they all worked and was accurate as compared to my IRT.I like the probes and the little case that it wraps around to keep the cable neat. The two little balls are simple but ingenious. I couldn't tell from the documentation if the 2 balls are heat proof/resistant, but I made sure to keep it out of my smoker.I used it several days after I got it on a prime rib roast and a chicken in a smoker oven. The rib roast came out perfect at medium rare. I knew one side was going to be more cooked based on the probes. Once I cut into it, it was as the probes indicated. Medium well on one side. Pretty accurate to me!The chicken came out perfect and juicy. I wanted to play it safe and let it cook into 165 after taking it out at 158ish. Probably could have taken it out earlier.The magnet on the receiver was pretty strong and stuck to the side of the grill very well. The mobile app was easy to use. I added add a new custom range or new temperature alert to monitor my prime rib and chicken.Some minor (very) complaint:I wish there was a hook for the receiver unit. Not all grills/ovens, etc have a place to stick the magnetic. My smoker didn't have any cools spot to stick the receiver. I eventually ended up putting it on top of the smoker over a brick that kept it away from the heat.The battery cover came off kind too easily. It was the back side and it seems like they weren't curved enough. The cover came off one time when I removed it from the side of the grill due to the magnet. The magnet itself is on the battery cover.I wish I could change the sound of the alarms for the individual probes. I wanted to play a moo-ing sound when the prime rib was done. OK not really, but I wanted to differentiate which probes was going off as sometimes my hands were full and I need to tell somebody to check the food or whatnot.Overall, I would recommend this product!

Packed well and delivered fast. No damaged what so ever when delivered. I haven't used the device but tested it and so far it reads the room temp of where I was correctly as I have an echobee device that shows my room current temp and was the same as the thermostat reading. App is great and temps and alarms can be modified to your liking. This will definitely make my brisket smoking or any types of food cooked perfectly! Was wishing it can be connected via WiFi but it isn't. Please modify the title and remove the word WiFi. For an IT person like me, using the word WiFi will make me think it's a wifi capability(connecting via internet wifi at home). Although, I read all the comments but wanted to test for myself since it does say wifi. All in all, great product and can't wait to use it. Will update this review once I've used the device. By the way, it comes with a pronge clip for your probe which I didn't know. This is A+ for me since I wanted it.LCD: Great light and easy view.Magnet: Strong enough to hold the device. Rubbery back, great for gripping any surface you use if you don't want to hang it.Probes: Great quality and comes with two.Will be a five star once I test the device and the outcome comes out good. :)
