This compact weather station is Superb. It functions very well and is compact for use everywhere.I mainly use it at the house, but I also bring it with me on camping trips, giving me Excellent weather conditions and temperatures. I Love it. I purchased a second unit for my daughter, who also Loves it.

This is the second time that I purchased this. I was so impressed with this weather station that I decided we needed another one for our summer home. Very accurate and easy to set up.

Purchased this to replace the unit that stopped working after many years of use. Warning, this unit does not come with the adapter (which you can purchase on Amazon for about $7-$9). The other unit (brown trim) does come with the adapter. I'd prefer to order the unit to have constant power source. Works good as expected. The barometer readings and humidity are most helpful for me with arthritis issues. I can be more prepared to deal with the symptoms and manage the soreness better. Display is great with various brightness options. Excellent price for a quality unit. Note, there is no brightness control though.

I didn't want something else that had to be plugged in and this station fit the bill. It's small, simple and accurate enough. Also purchased the sensor protection mount, well worth it. Atomic clock is a nice bonus. Good for casual weather. Humidity levels seem to run 5-10% lower than actual, but close enough for me. The unit would be even better if it had a 3 or 4 position pointer like Dry-Normal-Humid or something similar versus a number display for humidity. I've had other LaCrosse units, some lasting over 20 years. Excellent if you want simple and reliable with a value price.

Had a few days that it was losing an hour. Contacted their customer service and after a few tweaks it settled down and is keeping good time. Good unit we'll see how it goes. Their Customer Service people kept in touch making sure I was satisfied.

very easy set up...very accurate readings...like large numbers displayed..recommend buying one highly !!

I compared the temperature and humidity readings to the ones from three other sources: the Weather service for my town, my home thermostat, and my current Lacrosse Technology device (I wanted to replace it with this newer one because its outside sensor broke down and I can’t find replacement). The results after 24 hours of monitoring are disappointing as the variances are significant (a difference of 5 in humidity and of 4 in temperature). It is significant to note that the reading from the other sources are close and often identical. Also, I place the outside sensor right next to the station itself for an additional 24 hours and the difference was similarly significant (when you expect it to about zero). I will monitor for 2 additional days and the difference remains then I will return it.The constantly blinking pressure history graphics are annoying but I tolerate them thinking they may help with screen burn-in. It turned out that the first bar never changes and that kills the “smart reason” theory.The device has some nice features but they are irrelevant to me when its main function is not reliable; therefore the 1-star rating.

Temperatures and humidity off by 2-3 degrees. Couldn't return because the packaging was awful to open and had to be cut in several places. Display nice, and readable. Battery operated hard to find, so a feature i needed.
