Good scooter, Drunkard friendly
This scooter is awesome. It is under-powered . It does not like to go up hills by itself.BUT, it is low to the ground, front wheel driven and rear wheel braked, VERY, VEEERRRRY well balanced and super functional.I got an upgraded version - the F2 pro, which does handle hills better, but the driivabilty is not nearly in the same ball park. The narrower handle bars make for finer corrections (or the lack thereof), and the front wheel drive eliminates the possibility of unwanted wheelies and burn outs. Moreover, the rear wheel manual braking is way, WAY better for the scooting drunkard, as there is no possibility of flipping the POS end over end

App lies about mileage
This scooter is amazing I use it to cruise around with friends, I like everything about the app too except for the fact that it kinda lies about the amount of miles you have left. The only issue I have with the scooter is theres no front suspension so you feel every crack you go over. The lighting looks amazing at night however I wish there was a setting to set a static color instead of just cycling through different colors with breathing, pulse or rgb mode.Beware that this is delivered through UPS (at least for me) and the first time ordering this scooter it was damaged in shipping and I had to wait another week to buy it again because Amazon didn't offer any replacement which they claimed was due to the "uncertainty of the items stock" even though for every day since it was damaged in shipping the item had been in stock. I am just glad I was able to get my refund and place another order before this scooter went off sale.

Unsafe! Brake failure!
BEWARE!! HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!Purchased and received the Ninebot E2Plus KickScooter January 29, 2025. Grandson charged it and started using it February 2nd 2025. As of May 4th, 2025 the brakes stopped working while he was riding it and now he can no longer use it. Thank goodness he was not seriously injured. It looks like the return for this was less than a month given (2-28-25). When calling Segway and explaining that it is 3 months of usage and now unsafe to ride, these were the options given to me. They will send me the parts (don't know what parts as it is an internal problem and I am not taking it apart) which I can then watch a video on how to fix it or have a person call me and walk me thru the repair, bring to Los Angeles to their repair center or ship it to them. Am I to surmise that this is an ongoing issue with these and that is why they know what part to send? Either way this Item is now useless for at least a month if not more and this is his only mode of transportation. I understand that things break and wear down, but not after only 3 months of usage. A lot of money spent for something so new to have to be fixed.Just wanted purchasers and potential purchasers to know what you can look forward to if your purchase something like this and the response you will get. Maybe save yourself the headache and look for something more reliable with a better return policy. I know I will be.

Great for a new riders
Bought the scooter last year it’s still holding up pretty good scooter highly recommend for new electric scooter rider to start with this one. It only goes 15 miles but it’s a good start to your electric scooter journey.

Great Value! I recommend
Great scooter for my 11-year-old daughter, it is very smooth and the speed is great! I often use it to take my husky running to tire her out. I recommend!

Disappointing
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the ninebot E2 plus to ride with my sons smaller Segway scooter for Christmas and immediately regretted the purchase after riding for a week. Let me start by saying this scooter for the money is fine for a flat surface it gets up to speed pretty quick I weigh 170lbs , the display design and look of the scooter are excellent but after riding I realized for 299.99 it was just to under powered for me especially going up inclines and the lack of a faster speed I’d spring for the next model up to get that addressed. The main reason I gave this a bad review was mainly for the faulty throttle toggle this scooter when pushing off at times wouldn’t engage at all I had to manually push it across intersections several times due to no power in the throttle. I recharged , repaired the scooter and it still would happen randomly so I called Segway support and got a person who’s English was not very good who emailed me a list of checks to try which of course I’d had already done prior so this next option was to send me parts to try and replace the throttle on my own ? I don’t think so as this was a brand new scooter purchased on Amazon why should I do all this nonsense for a scooter within my return policy. I turned in a return request to Amazon and sent the scooter back and UPS either lost or damaged the scooter somewhere in the return process but Amazon made it right and refunded my purchase.Thank you Amazon this is why I do business with you! How ever I will not but another Segway product I’ll reorder a competing brand this week.
