I have used this product for years to easily remove coffee oils that accumulate over time on the inner walls of my Technivorm Moccamaster metal carafe. It is highly effective and only requires to be run through the coffee maker. No brushing or scrubbing required. Makes the inside of the carafe shine like new. I have seen a few reviews that complain this product does not descale their coffee maker. Please note that this product is NOT a descaler. The same company does make a descaler, but it is a different product. I use both.

I use several of this company's products to clean my corningware coffee pot. My pot looks great there is never anystains or coffee odor. I would recommend.

I purchased this to use on my Moccamaster brewer that is several years old and has never been cleaned properly. All I can say for sure is that the water that wound up in the pot after brewing was pretty dark. So I guess it must have at least helped. Perhaps it needs tb be used more regularly than I have done it. Who Know? It does seem rather expensive.
