I have developed arthritis in my wrists, but I type a lot for work and I also play the guitar as a hobby - I'm not giving either of things up any time soon, so I plan on continuing to aggravate my wrists on a daily basis. This wrap gets taken out of the freezer, used, and then put back into the freezer multiple times a day - probably three or four times a day. It works incredibly well as an ice pack for your wrist, and I'm sure you could wrap it around knees or what-have-you if you needed to. After six months it did start to leak it's magic cold-gel from one spot. I figured I had gotten my money's worth, but I contacted their customer service just for the heck of it and, sure enough, they sent me another one. I don't plan on asking for any more freebies - as I said, I feel I more than got my money's worth - but it was nice to see they were willing to stand by their product.

The ice pack is gel very good quality, flexible covers thumb area up to half of your arm (depending on your length of arm, wears comfortably you can still be mobile with it. I had a wrist injury and the ice pack helped a lot. After I placed in the freezer for about 2 hours the gel was not hard it was flexible and very cold. Even though it is intended for the hand/wrist it can be used if needed on the ankle, or lay it on your shoulder its long enough. The coldness lasted about 40 min or so. The velcro holds well. good value for your money. Once done just place it back in the freezer (I have inside a zip lock bag)

It is very cold; however, it is difficult to wrap around the wrist as it is quite rigid. Once it starts to soften up, it is better and works well

Fast cooling, instant relief! Though the instruction recommends 60 minutes in the freezer, I was much less patient than that to try the wrap. I gave it about 20 minutes then wanted to try the fit and comfort. It was the already the perfect temperature and felt amazing. The wrap is soft, flexible and comfortable and stays in place unlike trying to hold an icepack with a towel. The design allows for you to target the area needed. I have pain in my hand and wrist and it covered both. Later I left it overnight and the ice was far too hard and at a painful temperature, so I do recommend the short term freeze. I also want to mention that there was no unpleasant odor to the wrap, which can often go either way with products.

Update: customer service was excellent! I tried it again and I may have had a freeze burn instead if an allergic reaction since I wore it on top of my wrist brace and my hand was fine.I used this ice pack on and off for the last two weeks, I only used one of the two that came in the package and today I had an allergic reaction. I am not sure what caused the allergic reaction but I have to return it because I can't use it if I'm having allergic reactions.

It doesn't wrap around the thumb as shown but it does help with my wrist swelling!

Fits so comfortably and is not heavy at all. I use it all of the time for relief.

These are fantastic. The even cool thru a cast from surgery. Good for about 15 minutes.
