Love this and will buy again! I've tried doing paw prints in the past with ink and it's always a mess and never comes out great. This product is AMAZING!!!! No mess. Super easy!I was doing puppy paw prints. I also found you can use each ink panel more than once. Especially if you pay attention to what part of the ink panel you use.

Silly me, I was getting smudges and couldn’t figure it out and then realized with my Shih Tzu. I needed to trim his paw so that you could actually see his paw pad and then followed a YouTube video and basically dropped him on the ink pad to make a footprint or had him walk on it. I did this right before we put him down so that I have wonderful memories.

These Inkless Ink Pad kits are awesome for capturing your dogs pawprint and nose print. Super easy to use, even with a hyper puppy.

No mess and very easy to use. Each ink pad will only give you a couple of prints unless you use it very strategically. I did not. My dogs paw was very large so even if I had tried to use it strategically, I would not have been able to use it more than the couple of times I did. It tells you that you can use practice rounds but that was essentially wasting my ink pad. Technically I could use those pads again in the corners for a puppy or a very small dog or cat but I don't have small dogs or cats. Still I was grateful for this because my dog passed away this week. I wanted a nose print but he was not having it and I was not thinking about those things post his passing. I did however get a couple prints before he passed away and I am very grateful for them so to me it was worth it. Just don't expect to use one pad for more than a couple prints. After the first print, the ink fades. If you have multiple animals or sizes then you may get more use out of it. If you have only large dogs then you will only be able to use one pad per print for the most part. Using one pad for multiple dogs may look differently or lack ink in spots because the print would be different.

Im a pretty OCD person, but I couldn’t get an imprint that wasn’t terribly smudged. You might have more luck with a dog, but cats don’t actually submit to things like this.

I recently found out my dog has cancer so I started looking around at ways I could remember him by other than just pictures & memories. I saw lots of people doing paw print stamps & thought it was a super cute idea so I decided to try it. The kit came with lots of paper which gives you room to retry if mistakes are made, however, the outcome was not as expected & I was quite disappointed to say the least. I used the 4 ink pads it came with, all of the paper & I got maybe 1 okay-ish looking print (the top left one in the first picture & it looks better on camera than in person). The ink smudges terribly (as you can see in the photos, first picture) & most prints just come out a giant blob of ink. The whole process almost works better when the ink pad has been used a few times because at first it’s almost like it’s too wet & you can’t tell what the print is. I actually decided to paint my dogs paw with paint I already had & stamped it on paper that I also had already & it turned out a perfect print (as shown in the second picture), much better than this kit. I would instead suggest you just buy non-toxic acrylic paint & some paper as the outcome is so much better than this kit. Bonus, the paint is also cheaper & lasts longer than the stamp pad.

Where have these been all my life. Perfect for small children and dogs. No mess. Perfect.
