Great Power Bank ...

I love this unit! I have been running it for 2 months now and it performs very well. The back story:----------------I have a full-house generator that powers my entire home during an outage. The issue I had was there are a number of UPS systems that power many large computer systems. The UPS systems do not like the power generator especially when larger appliances switch on and off.To make matters worse, when one UPS switches-in (because generator power is slightly variable) that UPS puts enough of a load (3KWh) that the power varies by a few volts which then cause all the other UPS's (there are 5 in total) to all switch-in. This then causes the line voltage on the generator to rise causing the generator to adjust slightly to compensate for 5KWh loads suddenly disconnecting. Then, once the generator line level voltage settles ... all the UPS's detect stable voltage and suddenly switches-out ... causing the process in reverse. Basically, once a larger devince in my home comes on or off (like Stove, Microwave, Washing Machine, etc) all the UPS's trip in/out. The cycle repeats about once every minute. The UPS solution is to get an online UPS ... five of them which would be quite pricey (totaling nearly $10K).The solution:----------------I looked at the EcoFlow but did not want to spend so much money on the latest generation which would effectively act as a UPS. After speaking with the EcoFlow support team, they assured me it was OK to connect my UPS's in the office directly into the output of the EcoFlow.I purchased the EcoFlow Delta 2 MAX and tested it with one UPS and a non-critical system to verify it would work well. I purchased two 500W switching supplies and used the DC voltage out from those supplies are charging input into the EcoFlow solar ports to keep the unit charging (essentially the switching power supplies are behaving like solar panels).I have also added a second batter which will give me about 4.5 hours of run-time if I completely lose power when taking the generator offline for maintenance (oil change).

Bad start - excellent finish

First delivered and set up unit leaked bad. Contacted customer service and send in qualifying evidence, new unit was expedited and set up, works great! Using it to heat a 230 gal portable hot tub, raises temperature (F) avg of 10 degrees an hour, heats up to 120 degrees. I keep the shower nozzle on and the unit will cycle on and off on its own. Was the solution I was looking for.

Cheap quality as compared to their other products

Very poor description and very misleading. Plus there is no storage for the charging cables and the zipper is put in upside down!!!!! Would never have bought this if i had known the cheap quality. Definitely not worth the $99 price tag!!!!!!! definitely not satisfied!!!!!

Very Nicely Tailored to Fitment, some oddities

It's a really nice cover. However I am just writing this really quick. I would have liked to have included pictures, but maybe given some more wear and tear and use, I'll revisit this later...• Fitment is amazing.• I dont't like how the display cover when it unzippers that there is no rollup holdback, it just unhinges and flaps forward (but I can't complain really). I rolled it forward and tucked it under/in front of the power button. I may cut a small hole in it and zip tie it rolled tucked inward.• I don't like also that the flaps for the side have velcro to hold then down the vent covers, that when the flaps are rotated open over the top of the unit, that they just sit on the top and don't velcro onto eachother to stay held together....I would think the wind might flip them back closed and overheat the unit. I'll definately will be stopping at a hardware store for some velcro on a roll, the stiff stuff to make some kind of rigging to keep these from allowing that to happen (and it looks easy enough).• I recently broke the power input cover off the backside that flaps downward when grabbing the unit to pick it up. I think they would have to do a redesign to move the port downward just to make a cover fit properly. It's alnost inevitable that the power port cover will break if you disconnect it, without working the port cover closed under the cover itself - meaning you have to get down on the ground or floor and do this before picking it up (after you disconnected the power). <--- EDITED 25/03/01Other than that, this cover is really nice. I have it in my Semi on the floor, and it is in direct contact with my boots at times to be scuffed. On the Ecoflow itself - again it's used in a Semi. I use it primarily to run the microwave when refueling, a 12V heater blanket to save fuel on colder nights, a 12V 12" Fan for the Summers, for charging things while I'm staying in it OTR over the weekends, for an overhead 110V LED Light to save the batteries on the truck also when sitting for hours on end in the sleeper. And then I back charge it at 800 Watts with the Ecoflow Alternator since it's very unfriendly with Inverters. So far it has worked out pretty well, savings $45 average a night in fuel; and that's not including DEF, catalyst wear, extended oil changes ,etc. Probably saves me around $600-900 a month depending on the time of year.I did notice that you lose the ability of having the handles. That kind of sucks, but the unit it so heavy that, I mean honestly, who the heck is picking this up with one hand???? I do that coming out of the semi hulking this thing sometimes and it about takes my arm off jumping down 5 feet and swinging this thing at 45 lbs. IF it if wasn't so solidly built, the handle would/should tear off, or my arm would pull from the socket. ...But the point is, you pick it up and hold it, grabbing it from the bottom and pulling it onto your chest (I support it just off my belt line too). I find this is the most confortable way of doing it. Other reviewers go on about this as a flaw. But having the handles covered, it still lets you use the handles effectively, you just can't loop your hands through it. Now would you drop it because of this....if you're weak in strength like someone older or a woman in general (not meaning to be, what's the word, but you get me). So I move this around alot by hand, and this does concern me, but it hasn't caused me a problem to date...and that's because the zippers and stitching are so tight to the unit, that there isn't any movement and it holds firm to the unit when grasping and picking up, letting down etc. Also, at some point I read that it had no bottom - but it does. That may have been for an earlier modeled unit's cover. It also has a very thin flexible foam padding between the inner and outer layer of fabric, so it has a bit of impact resistance. As far as value goes!!?? Boy is this expensive. I could see it at $65 where I feel it should be. I think off hand I paid $90. But everything associated with these is expensive...so go figure.I will definately revisit this later on as time passes by with pictures though.

Ok

This thing fits kind of odd hard to get to your Outlets when you unzip it and they could have put a couple pockets on each side to hold cords
