My father was a certified gemologist and custom jeweler and I grew up fascinated by the precision scales he had in his office that was enclosed in a metal and glass case. And the even older one that was covered by a thick glass dome when not in use. Today, we have a tiny device that fits in the palm of your hand that is capable of delivering as accurate a measurement as my dad's equipment, instantly.The display is so satisfying. It's honestly my favorite feature of this scale. The font, the color, and the size of the display is so easy to read and the precision appeals to my need for precise and accurate measurements. Yes, the buttons are a little clunky and I don't like the way they click. I'd pay twice the price for a softer silicone press button. The plastic, clicky buttons take away from the impression of quality. Same with the weighing platform. It looks like aluminum but it's actually plastic. That's the takeaway here, all of this is plastic and it is capable of giving very precise and accurate measurements, but you will need to treat it gently.I love that it includes the calibration weight. That too reminded me of my dad's old jewelry scales. It's a very easy process to calibrate and ensures that you're getting the most precise measurements. I tested the scale with a gold Krugerrand coin which should weigh close (+/-) to 33.93 grams and it was spot on the money showing 33.994 grams. This is also extremely useful in weighing scrap gold.There are a wide range of measurement units to select including grams, pennyweight, grains, troy ounce, ounce, carat, milligrams, and tael. There's also a "P" button that I have no clue as to its function. The instructions are decent if you're good at reading between the lines of translation. Aside from that, it's easy to figure out and is fairly intuitive. I highly recommend this weighing scale for jewelers if you're looking for accuracy that is discrete and easy to use with no warm-up times. An easy recommendation. The main thing about this is that it is super-accurate. They include a 100g weight that, as you can see, weighs in at 100 grams exactly on this scale. I put a random 2015 penny on there, and it was a bit lucky, but it came out to the prescribed weight of 2.5 grams on the nose. (Full disclosure, I tried a couple more and one was a bit over 2.5g, one a bit under, but that's coins for you and actually further demonstrates the accuracy of this scale, in my opinion.)Beyond the accuracy, this thing is very small (fits in the palm of my hand and is less than 1.5 inches thick. It is also very light, coming in at just over 100 grams (around 105.1 on a different scale I have) itself. That means that if you need a small, light (thus portable), very accurate scale, this one should work nicely. It is USB-C chargeable, but so far has held its initial full charge very well.It is almost all plastic and very plasticky in look and feel. The buttons work well but are also plastic and plasticky in look and feel. But it doesn't affect performance at all and unless you abuse it, it should last a long time. It has a protective cover and the box it comes in is sturdy and easy to keep organized.

Very nice having a scale that weighs down to .001. Very useful for smaller increments needed in baking and brewing smaller batches. Works perfectly.

I am very pleased with this little scale. It gives me more accurate readings of mg when I roll my own joints, helping me make sure they are all nearly the same amount so I get the same each time.The display is great, it's a standard digital output. It comes with a small bowl that you can use to put the item you're weighing in, which is handy when you want to be able to transport it after weighing without it getting all over the scale itself.It's the perfect size to keep on the counter or in a drawer.

Hello friends, I selected this digital milligram scale for weighing small items.I am very impressed that this scale comes with its own 100 mg weight to prove its precision. It looks exactly like the ones that can be found in a chemistry lab. They are very simple, have a lid, and a landing area with a slight lip on it so that nothing rolls off. Furthermore, the confidence continues with this scale being able to be recharged for wireless use or can be battery powered using two AAA batteries. The batteries are included as is a 3-ft charging cord. There is no power box included. Just the cord. The scale is super easy to use and has lots of measuring options at the touch of a button. I highly recommend this particular product. It covers all of the bases. Five stars.
