Quality Watch For the Money
This smartwatch looks classy and seems well made. I do not think it is possible to set the time to 12 hour instead of 24 hour for the digital time part of the face. If it were a square watch like my previous on, then I would probably have sent this back for this reason. However, as a round-face watch, it is designed to be look like a traditional dial face, and as such I really like it, because the dial face obviously isn't military time. The 24 hour digital time is just a secondary time in addition to the dial for most of the faces. However, this is the main reason I am giving the watch 4 instead of 5 stars. The other reason for 4 stars is that there aren't a lot of different faces to choose from. I like the ones that are provided. And the "custom" face that you make is extremely limited and basic, but I think it's the same with all of these watches. I wish you could make a custom face with the moving watch dial, and I wish it saved a custom face once, but it doesn't. (EDIT: It saves your custom face to the watch but not the app.) That said, several of the faces are very classy. This is def a watch you can wear to take a jog or to a formal event. The metal body of the watch has these little lines around the face that look really nice. There are some other similar watches on Amazon that I think use the same app, but the subtle design difference of this Tozo is the reason I went with it.The user interface of this watch is great. My favorite "budget" smart watch yet. My plan was to try the watch for a week and send back if I didn't like it, but I was sold on it after a few days. Def keeping it. Calls actually work well on the watch, a feature I disabled on previous watches. And the one thing that really sold me on the watch is the sleep monitor. So far at least, the sleep tracker has been the most accuracte of any smart watch I have used to date, including more expensive ones. So, in closing, I really am impressed with this watch so far. There are similar options here, but the subtle styling of this one is nice, and the UI is fantastic. Yes, I recommend it. Very glad I picked it over the others I was considering.EDIT: After a month with the watch, I changed my 4 star rating to a 5. Yes, my original critiques are still there, but it's really a good watch. Goes several days on a full charge with highest display brightness. Very happy I picked it. Good app with no ads. (Some other watches use an app with ads. I crossed several off my "maybe" list when shopping because of that.) The band is totally fine, but I did just replace it with a velcro nylon band because I like their fit better.

"Does what theirs does for less than half the price"
I have purchased a couple Tozo watches over the years (S3 & S5). Both have been amazing values. My S3 evenutally wore out so I checked out the S5 and was pleased with the heavier build quality and expanded feature set over the plastic case of the S3 - for not much more cost. In a time where Apple and Samsung want many hundreds of dollars for their smart watches, it was worth it to me to spend less than $50 to see how well Tozo's product compared. And, I gotta say, someone who would bypass the S5 for an Apple or Samsung alternative has more dollars than sense. The unit captures all the biometrics with fair accuracy. It recharges quickly. It is completely waterproof. The watch face can be traded out from many different alternatives. The app is straightforward and the interface is intuitive.Best of all, Tozo is based in the US.As for the customer service, my S5 began hiccupping and failed for reasons unknown. Contacting support via email resulted in a response in a few hours with some helpful troubleshooting tips. The first time, the watch revived, but a couple of weeks later, it could not be rebooted. No worries, customer support immediately arranged for a replacement unit without having to return the original - though I wouldn't have minded returning it in the event Tozo wanted to examine what failed to improve future builds. All in all, Tozo sells a reliable product that "does what theirs does for less than half the price" - a former slogan by the shampoo maker, Suave, for you older folks. Highly recommend.

Nice watch but beware of questionable warranty
The reviews on the watch are nothing short of excellent but I find it quite large and I wear 6 1/2-7 in wrist watch. I also find that it does not accurately count steps - there's also a huge delay in the steps displaying the number of steps. If you don't care about the latency it's a good and simple looking watch otherwise.Nov 6, 2024 Update:TOZO customer service contacted me to replace the watch I had returned due to technical issues - basically, the watch was deemed defective. Tozo wanted to ensure my satisfaction and encourage me to try their product again in the future. Here's my new detailed review:The watch feels hefty as it's made of metal which is a plus. The watch is on a larger side so it might not be suitable for a smaller wrist. I have a 6.5 inch wrist so it's perfect for me. The silicone strap is nice and comfortable, but I wish it had 2 loops to keep the strap from overhanging. I also wish it came with 2 straps (compare to some of the competitors). The charger that comes with it disconnects easily from the watch, probably due to a weaker magnet compared to my other magnetic chargers. Be sure to check that it’s securely connected before you walk away, or you might find that it hasn’t charged when you go to wear it.Step count: it is still a bit delayed, only showing up on the watch after a few minutes. Like many smartwatches, it seems to track arm movement rather than actual steps. What’s odd is that when you're walking it doesn’t log the steps immediately, but when you turn on exercise mode—walking for instance —it instantly logs the steps but it undercounts. This has been consistent with my experience so far.App: the app is user-friendly but with some improvement needed. For example, you can change the watch face, but only five can be downloaded at a time; otherwise, it removes the last one, and there’s no way to manually delete watch faces from either the app or the watch. While there are some free watch faces available online, the options are rather limited compare to others. The watch can also display the weather, but it often shows the message, "Please connect to the app for more weather information," even when it's already connected - see pic. I'm not sure what it needs to function properly. The heart rate monitor works fairly well, and it allows for continuous tracking which is good, but it will eat up the charge quickly.Notification: this is where the watch suffers a bit. I find that it doesn't consistently notify of incoming messages eg., google messages, email (outlook or gmail), and other various apps I use although they're all enabled in the app (see pic). I tested this against my other smart watch (comparable to Tozo) and while the other watch consistently pings me of incoming messages the Tozo didn't. Restarting the watch didn't help either. All of the other features of the watch seem ok, but I mainly use the watch for health monitoring, text and email notifications, and of course time.Overall, the watch needs improvement and if you need a watch the actively monitors your steps like I do S5 underperforms. A watch company with good customer service is worth giving another chance.March 2025: I’m updating my review as the watch, which was barely used, suddenly stopped working. It’s not charging or powering up. I contacted customer support and provided the requested video details. Since the watch was a replacement for the original item I returned to Amazon, Tozo support stated they can’t replace it because there’s no order number associated with it. While this is true, there is an order ID linked to the replacement. It’s unfortunate, as I expected a replacement under the warranty. Though Tozo’s customer service is responsive to inquiries, they aren’t adhering to their warranty policy. Therefore, I’m downgrading my rating to 1 star.
