I grew up eating Stella D’oro cookies. Now, I can only really get them through Amazon or unless I make a special trip to the state where I grew up. These cookies are delicious and I do recommend trying them. However, the reason for 1 star taken off is because I ordered two packs and one of the packs was pretty broken. I was able to salvage what I could but it was disappointing. Also, sometimes these cookies are priced so high it’s laughable. Sometimes I see them for $11 for one pack of cookies? I bought these at about $4 or $5 a pack and that’s the most i will pay for one pack.

I grew up eating these at my aunts house. I bought them to share a piece of my childhood with my husband. They taste the same.

Received two packages of the Stella D'Oro cookies. Both packages were past their sell by date. Not the end of the worldand yet disappointing. Another reminder to buy food or other perishables from a place that guarantees freshness and/or where you can examine the package. Have not had these particular cookies in a long time; the classic taste has changed. Not bad, mind you, but not that classic taste I was looking for from that Bronx Stella D'Oro bakery of old.
