Simple test running a DJI battery extender and this one, recording 4k 25fps to see how long each lasted.DJI was 3.9 hours, and this one was 5.5 hours, so a decent result, giving an extra 1.5 hours or so.

Similar units can be bought from china , but cheaper, haven’t used it yet to find out it’s capacity, but buying from Amazon with its easy return system more important than the price.

Be warned, this battery eats it's own power. What so I mean? The LED's stay lit when connected to the Pocket 3 even when the P3 is fully charged and it continues to use power. In one day it uses half it's power if you leave it attached to the P3 even when you are not using the camera at all and it's at 100% power - you can't leave it attached! Also, the USB C socket on the back can only be used for charging, you CAN NOT use that port to access the files on your Pocket 3, it does not transfer data at all. It's basically just rubbish and my advice is to buy the official extended battery pack from DJI rather than try to save a few pounds on a sub-par product as I have done to my cost. Buy cheap, buy twice. It should be made clear in the product description that the USB is charge only and that you can't leave the battery attached as it will continue to discharge.

Really disappointed with the performance of this. It's advertised as being able to fully charge the Pocket 3 twice, however from fully charged it charged the Pocket 3 from 65% to full, but then showed less than 25% power remaining.

And when you experience a combined battery capacity of 5300mAh, you really don't want to go back to just 1,300.Another benefit I enjoy is the extended handle created when you attach the battery pack. I have large hands, and I find it makes using the Pocket 3 just that little bit easier, not to mention more convenient for selfie shots, with the added extension. The extra length comes in very handy for holding the camera above crowds, by the way! The standard threaded tripod socket is a further bonus.Having used a Pocket 3 with and without this battery handle I now consider this an integral part of my kit, and I carry it whenever I use the camera. I think it's a five star purchase, and excellent value for money.

I’ve had my Osmo three for rough a year now and I’m absolutely loved it. The only drawback was the fact that I would need to carry a power bank in my pocket and connect it to the Osmo via cable which would often be unsightly and sometimes inconvenient.Couple of the fact that I’d also need to use a tripod to extend the handball so that I could get some decent selfie shots in groups.Battery solve 2 problems In one. The backpack itself acting as both an extended handle and the ballot power bank was only prolong the life of the Osmo for an entire duration of a day at a comic con but also made it so much easier to extend the reach of the to get a decent panoramic shot from above and in front looking back.It’s very easy to charge using a standard cable adapter. The LED lights on the front to just keep easy track of the battery life and if you want to, you can actually deactivate the battery by the power button and save the charging for any touch you needed rather than keeping the Osmo topped up. The fit the Osmo seamless means that it’s not unsightly or bulky compared to the original handle.Overall, I’m very very pleased with this as I’ve already mentioned its Solved a nagging problem very simply.
