After buying 20# of fresh plump tasty Pumpkin seeds I had no hesitation in ordering 10 Pounds of Raw peanuts for Boiling. I can't think of any other place I would order my needs from than C.J. Dannemiller.Best dang boiled peanuts I ever made & I have made a lot.

I no longer recommend - Not Jumbo, fancy is not a size which I recognize. Chewy - not crisp.
Not Jumbo and "fancy" is not a size. These may not even be "medium." To be fair, they are not labeled a standard trade size. I believe these are old, quite possibly stored at elevated humidity. They don't present as crisp raw dry peanuts - full and chewy. In my opinion, these are low quality peanuts which are fit for animals, not boiling.Black on your peanuts generally means one of two things (odds are). Clearly it's not Black Hull so, I am leaning the other direction.I'm old, this isn't my first rodeo. While I don't see a fuzzy growth, I don't think these are up to expectations. I googled. This is what it says.♦️AI OverviewBlack spotting on the inside of peanut skins, specifically where the peanut kernel attaches, can indicate a few things, including mold growth, pod rot, or aflatoxin contamination. Great for everyone!
The peanuts are great quality and this is an excellent price for a great quantity. I leave them raw to feed the squirrels and birds. I bake some for my husband and I to have a healthy snack. Boil some in crab boil and a little sea salt for a special snack (it’s a south Louisiana version of boiled peanuts). And some are roasted and then ground, slivered, chopped, or left halved for salads and many veggie and meat dishes.

The Crows Love These
We give these raw peanuts to the crows. Raw (not roasted) is the best option for crows. They caw at my daughter to feed them. We love crows!
