This device does not work as stated in the details. I can ONLY use at 1 frequency, where as the details says it could work with multiple frequencies. The worst part of this scanner - it requires you to purchase and download additional software. Add even then you will be limited in features. Another poor feature is there is NO keypad for alpha numeric entry. Try editing a scanned number (Good luck using the Up/Down arrows) scrolling through all the characters. Waist of money.

I bought this to manage 125Khz HID fobs (aka H-ID or H10301). That is, copy fobs, see the code in an unlabelled fob, and write arbitrary codes into fobs. Unlike other readers, this one's web site said it supported HID fobs.The good news: It does copy HID fobs.The bad news: It does NOT display HID fob codes, or let me edit HID fobs. So it only does 1 of the 3 tasks I need.It does display & edit ID-125Khz fobs, so I know how to use it. It just doesn't do what I need for HID fobs.

This thing is pretty awesome because I have a pool, gym, and tennis courts in my neighborhood that require a passkey card, but if you want more than one you have to pay $50! That is absurd in my opinion because I was able to duplicate them with this device without any problems, so if you are looking to do something similar then I would absolutely recommend this!That said, I did attempt to make a backup of my company swipe card which did not work, but I'm actually reassured by that because that just means my building at work is just that much more secure lol.

Did not copy my entry fob as it wouldnt read it. It is easy to use though.
