These bins are sturdy, latch firmly, and stack well with great visibility. I have used them for years for incoming mail because the dimensions are perfect for business envelopes to fit crosswise for easy viewing. I add daily mail in front of the prior day's mail until I have time to process thoroughly. Anything of major importance remains at the front. That keeps my mail organized in chronological order and out of the way until the weekend. One bin usually lasts three months with some culling. I label the bin as to 1st Quarter, 2nd Quarter, etc. At tax time or year end, things are organized and easy to locate in workable chunks. Eventually a year is condensed into one bin. These are sturdy, latch firmly, and stack well.These bins have been marvelous to visibly store many other items such as scarves, photos, greeting cards, pasta and rice packages in my pantry, paint samples, art supplies for grandchildren, stationery, etc. I keep one between the grandchildren's two car seats to keep books easily accessible for them. They have served more purposes in my life than I can describe. I also appreciate the lightning fast shipping this seller provided.

I was happy to see Sterilite on the list. Good products and made in the USA. These are not flimsy, and I like the way the locks work. When I need plastic containers, I always look for Sterilite.

I ordered these to put beads and jewelry making supplies in the corner of the box was crushed so one of the storage boxes. The corner was broken, but I got a refund for the one that was broken. Just call. Don’t try to do it online. They’ll give you a percentage refund, I’m happy with the 11 storage boxes I have and I’ve started organizing my jewelry making supplies . Just the right size that when they’re full, they’re not too heavy

I have used this exact brand and style for years. They are the best without being overly costly. Have never had them crack though the lids are not a real tight fit if you are looking for a true "sealing" lid but they lock well.

These bins are ok, but much thinner than other types. Price is good vs heavier bins. 2 of the 6 pieces arrived with broken corners... one is not bad, the other is more pronounced. Damage is not serious enough for the hassle of a return as I need them immediately.

These 27 quart bins are a very handy size. They hold enough books to reach the limit of liftable heaviness for old folks like me. They hold a fairly substantial quantity of off-season garments. They're good for odds and ends. The clamps are effective at securing the lid.Good as they are, they have a downside. Sooner or later the otherwise transparent plastic exudes an oily, whitish film that coats the inside and outside of the bin. That is when the manufacturer's descriptive name for this product, "ClearView," becomes questionable. The film rubs off on the contents, but can, in turn, be brushed off of them. The surfaces of the bin can be cleaned to remove the film and although this is successful at least till the film forms again, it's a bit of a hassle (to clean them I use a paper towel or, better yet, a microfiber cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol). Maybe all bins do this, I don't know.One other nit to pick. Amazon shipped the original corrugated cardboard box of six bins inside another corrugated cardboard box, which was the right way to go. Inside both perfect boxes were five bins that were good and one (the bottom one) that was shattered. Amazon would have taken the bad bin back, but only if I returned all six. As I needed them rather urgently, I did not return them, but took a loss on the broken one. That was my choice. The incident at any rate serves as a reminder that, while the bins are sturdy enough, they are not indestructible, and reasonable caution is needed while handling them..

I've done craft shows and used so many types of containers to store, transport, and sort my materials and products. I cannot count how many times bags tore or cheaper plastic cracked, leaving the content open to water, dust, rodents. I was done and wanted to setup my workroom in a way that allowed easy use, secure storage, and good looks. I have the 15 qt, 27 qt, and got the 6 qt containers and redid all my supplies and projects. I was able to layout a pattern to use all the boxes in various configurations that allows maximum use of my shelving space (consistency in sizing and how they could fit side by side). Problem is - I had some items that required more room lengthwise but took up too much space in larger totes or the larger totes would get too heavy. Ordered these 32 qt long boxes - they slide into the same space used by other boxes - and I was able to store my looms or complicated projects in something easier to access and move. Sterlite has always stood up to long term use, the clasp on these hold the boxes tight and keep dust or unwanted visitors from my delicate items (paper boxes were useless and not sturdy), I have the same style and color now and it makes my workshop modular and easy to see, store, and access what I need. The bulk bundles found here have been a fantastic value and way cheaper than buying a couple at local stores. Cannot recommended these - and other sizes - enough!
