Great Value Portable A/C with Solid Cooling but Some Minor Trade-Offs
I bought two NETTA Portable Air Conditioners for our bedrooms - one doubles as my home office, and the other is south-facing and gets quite hot in summer. Delivery was via DPD, and I noticed both boxes were tilted over 45 degrees and handled rather roughly when it was removed from the van. Since the manual advises letting the unit sit for 24 hours if tilted, I recommend doing so before first use, even if you did not see it being tilted during delivery.Packaging was excellent: the units were well-protected and internal tape securing all movable parts. Unboxing is easy: just remove the straps and lift the box off without needing to hoist the 20kg unit. Accessories (hose, window kit, remote, and manual) are tucked securely at the top.Note: the included window kit is for sliding windows, not the casement ones more common here in the UK, so plan accordingly if you need a different fit. I've added two photos showing the hose diameter and its fully extended length, which might help with placement and planning.Noise-wise, the internal blower fan is louder than a typical desk fan, though the compressor is impressively quiet. So much so, you might not even hear the compressor turn on and that it started cooling over the fan noise, so give it a good moment before deciding it is 'broken'. It has only two fan speeds - roughly "Medium" and "High" - which may be too noisy for light sleepers. Personally, I don't mind the sound. One downside: the louvres are manually adjustable only, with a single louvre offering minimal horizontal directional control. I would’ve preferred automatic swing functionality. That said, the cooling performance is solid -- it cools our bedrooms quickly. Before buying, I suggest checking the BTU requirements for your room’s size and allowing a buffer above the minimum, as BTU ratings can vary by testing method. There are plenty of websites that can help with this.Overall, especially at this price point, I consider it a worthwhile investment.

Works well and not to noisy
Superb but I tried it in a 13x13 room it cooled it down amazingly but it never got really cold the construction was good int thing that let it down was the filter sheet under hose did not fit correctly the sound was less than a normal conversation level but I had to turn tv up a couple of notches so as not to get distracted and not one of my neighbours have mentioned a noise and I live in a top floor flat where you can hear everythingSet up was as easy as making a cup of tea

Hopefully it’s just the one, but why would you seen dented stuff out
The media could not be loaded. This is just my experience, I have been wanting a air conditioner for a long time, it come I was excited plugged it in put the hose out window, I noticed the heat straight away and the hose was so bendy, yesterday was my first day and only day I would plug it in, it was so hot 🥵 to the touch, my fridge side doesn't get that hot it was like standing by the oven, and the noise wow, plus no water came out, I unplugged it for safety reasons and opened all windows it was colder without it, anyway I then looked at the back and it’s dented and it’s got a cover so that didn’t happen in transporting it, im so upset, I rang my friend and he said no it’s broken, it shouldn’t do that, the minute you switch it on the heat just gets hotter and hotter

Good for bedroom
Good little unit quiet too.. if came with a longer pipe itd be 5 stars, got this for a medium sized bedroom and its not struggling to cool the room.perfect if you work nights and want a cool room to sleep in.One thing is make sure you fit the vent pipe as air tight as you can (i used foam foil lined building insulation and cut a piece to fit window opening). Also buy some aluminium foil tape you will need it .

Brilliant purchase
Very good. In fact one of the best decisions I've made. Used it today for the first time and it's extremely impressive.
