I love this thing.Back story - I bought a cheap soldering iron and it destroyed everything I used it on. So I returned it and got this one.They actually thought through the design of this product unlike so many things now a days.- The stand works and is stable enough to hold the iron while you press a wire against it etc.- The little tip drawer is well made and spring loaded / locks in place well.- The tips fit in like a dermal tool tip almost - secure, and simple and all feels well made.- Battery life seems good so far ~ only used for a couple hours on and off- It gets really hot right at the tip and it does it fast. Able to heat a small pin and wire to soldering temp in a second or two and it is easy to get it where you want.- Feels nice, fits the hand well, button could be towards the back so you do not accidentally turn it off ( done that twice ) but I will adapt.- Has a ring light around the front to help see ( eyes are not what they were in my youth so this is good )If Apple made tools, they would probably be a lot like these.I got it for a good price.. I can not recall exactly at the moment, but maybe $50-$60 and it is worth every penny.I was not paid or given this product for review, nor asked for my review. That being said... If the company would like me to review other products, I would be more than happy to test them out :D.

Fantastic little soldering iron.I use it for my RC’s fixing wires or changing connectors. It does its job well and quick. I’m an amateur when it comes to soldering so I can’t really say much about the temp control or how it affects things. What I can say is that I usually have it set to the 750 degree nob and it heats up in an instant and gets the 12,10 and even 8gauge wires hot enough to absorb the solder. So it’s perfect for what I use it for.The holder is also really nice to have and it comes with a desoldering pump thing. Haven’t used this particular one but it creates some decent suction, better than the one I usually use so I’d say it would work fine.

I am not one to leave reviews in fact I can count on one finger how many I have left. I just want to say I refurbished retro gaming systems and fix them when I can and for some reason this product struck me as something I should buy and take a look at. With all the fancy and expensive solderimg stations that I have pirchased over the yrars this was the easiest to work with and cut my soldering time by at least 75%. Iron gets very hot very quick and eats 1.2 mm solder for breakfast. If you are in the market for an inexpensive and very quality product I can not recommend this product enough. I also wantes to say this is also the first time I have ever purchased or heard of Fanttik and would highly recommend this soldering iron. Thank you KC.

Excellent quality and easy to use. Heats up very fast and lasts long enough for most projects.Some improvements I’d recommend:- easier way to see battery status- brighter LED’s- longer LED timeout- have it detect when it’s in the holder- add a way to order additional solder tips- include a wall power source for those who need to use it for longer periods of time.

everything works fine. but if you guys would put at least a little tin in the package so that you could solder. it's a shame when you buy a soldering iron for such a price, but you can't use it right away.

Ok so befor Iv even tested it I wana start this off with my onboxing impressions...It feels too premium for what it espouses to be...The packaging, altho cardboard is unreasonably senseable with everything layed out in a component way so the user isn't unboxing each accessory out of order and is instead lead down a clear path of intended experience that will in the end result in the user having a setup stand with its accessories available and the iron in mount and also the user will have just in time discovered the cleverly labeled tip drawer that is embedded into the stand with a push to release mechanism that...just feels right, you know...Haha...I sound nuts... But I like it...Now for some fumes...I'll append this with an actual review of its real functions and final cost Benefit analysis however biased it may be, also keep in mind that I'm an idiot and Iv literally been jaded by crap $10 irons from big box stores for years and altho Iv been in this industry tinkering for the better part of 30years I'm like a toddler with my soldering skills so if this kit doesn't actively make that distinct lack of skills worse than I will be absolutely elated...It really only needs to be comparable to a low cost electricly not sound Shenzhen special iron and heat gun combo rework station I bought a few years ago that actually surprisingly works fantasticly, but is bulky and getting long in the tooth...So...We shall see...ya?

Very nice! Like the compact size of it!

I used the iron for about 5 minutes when I first received it and it worked fine. Now, several months later I needed to use it. So I put it on charge just to be sure it was full, turned it on and used it for 30 seconds and it shut down and wouldn't turn back on.UPDATE: 4/4/25. Customer service contacted me. They bent over backward to make the situation right. Even tho it was months past the return window they sent me a new soldering iron. The new iron works without issue. Polly was great to work with. I won't hesitate to buy Fanttik product in the future.
