Doesn’t charge battery
Doesn’t provide enough power to charge the camera battery. The App gives a message advising use of a compatible cable. The shorter original cable works fine.Since I was beyond the return period when I fitted this (lesson learned!), I cut the cable to 2.5m and reconnected the wires. It will now charge the battery slowly in 22 hours but still not enough power to run the camera.A truly terrible product. I hope Amazon discontinues it.

An ideal extension!
This 10m extension cable is pre-fitted with the magnetic set of contacts that connects to a Google Nest camera and at the other end plugs into the standard USB-A charger. All finished in white, this is designed to show up as little as possible against your decor, if you are going a long way to connect an outside Google Nest camera back into the house to the charger or perhaps a laptop. Ultimately when you have a unique power fitting like this one, you do need to buy a cable like this, but this seems to work well and delivers on the power connection front. What a great accessory and one that is reasonably good value too!

dont waste your money does not charge/power the camera properly ...keeps dropping and need me to unplug it and plug back in to maintain power to the camera ...not ideal when it 10ft high
