Fun and engaging murder mystery party. It requires some invested people, but that is true for all of these types of games. It wasn't too adult oriented, but definitely not as playable with our tween kids as some of our other escape-room in a box games. Nice use of different clues and pretty engaging. Too bad you can really only play once. Maybe in a few years we will forget enough and be able to play it again?

a great mystery you can play alone or with friends. i like to play these by myself after my kids go to bed for some *me time* i spent a little over 3 hours over two nights finishing this game. it was fun, i enjoyed it. its a one and done game, but for the current price of a$12.48 i think its a great value for a few hours of fun.

This was a very fun game to play with my husband -I like the level of interactivity that it provided -Not just hide clues around the house, but I can use my phone and find clues online -When I purchased, I thought that I might be able to get away with playing it with our 14-year-old son, but it is definitely for adults; or at least two adult for my teen yet.Enjoyed playing it with my husband, though, definitely a fun date night

This was such a fun game to play. It's totally interactive. You follow clues, crack codes and even use the internet to help decipher additional clues and codes.I had a blast playing this with my teenagers. They thoroughly enjoyed it and were on the edge of their seats the whole time.Think of it sorta like an escape room. You have to pieces together clues, that lead to other clues, to advance in the game. It's so much fun!

Me and my friends love murder mystery games and we have tried out quite a few brands. Some brands are a hit and some are a miss. I’m really impressed with this brand and the setup of how to play. It’s a little more unique than some of the other “name brands”. First of all you have a ton of cards, evidence, and hints to go through. We usually play with a small kids easel but this time it felt like we could’ve used a whole school white board if we had one. The second more unique aspect is that you really get to be a sleuth by using your phone to solve the mystery like using Google Maps, emails, Google searches and other tech applications.This isn’t for the weak or minimally involved because this game took us around 4-5 hours with 4 of us working pretty diligently. We got stuck several times and probably should’ve taken a break and came back to it another day but we were too into it to stop.It was really fun, well worth the value for a group of us to have a game that kept us that interested, and made us use our brains together.

The Thames & Kosmos Masters of Crime: Rapture game is absolutely thrilling! I loved stepping into the role and navigating tough decisions to uncover the mystery. The storyline is gripping, and the twists kept me hooked until the end. The cooperative gameplay makes it perfect for playing with friends, but it’s just as fun solo.

I am a major fan of Thames & Kosmos, having played every single one of their Exit: The Game series. I just love games that work my brain and make me think outside the box. This resembles the Exit series in some ways, but it's not just a string of riddles, it's a quite in-depth exploration of "whodunnit".You must have internet access, you'll rely heavily upon the web to track down info during this. It's super interactive with all kinds of media that you get to explore. I won't say too much about what you do so as not to spoil it, but I will say it will pull you in and keep you absorbed for a long time!I did a couple hours and went back to finish up the next day. I felt like a real detective!What you do in the game influences the outcome. It's essentially a one-use game, although if you're careful to preserve the components and don't look at the info not pertinent to your storyline you could replay it. However, I look at it as a one-time thing just like the Exit games and I feel it's well worth it for the tremendous entertainment value.I played it as a one person game but it would be fun for a group of two to four, I think. There is a great deal of reading involved but if everyone is invested it could be tons of fun to solve it together and bounce ideas off each other.
