Seriously, if you're looking for a gateway on how to get more into natural living, START HERE WITH THIS ESSENTIAL OILS KIT. I wanted a more natural approach to healing common ailments like acne, depression, headaches, and anxiety, and more so, I needed alternatives to pain medications that my veterinarian prescribed to my 13 year old dog with arthritis that just made her sick and sleep all day, so I can't even communicate how absolutely over the moon I am about these products since THEY REALLY, REALLY WORKED on the things I bought them for WITHOUT ANY HARMFUL SIDE EFFECTS OF HEAD FOG. These particular oils are 100% authentic and therapeutic grade without any added chemicals, colors, and fillers (the only oils you should ever buy), which means they can be ingested and applied to the skin safely, so each bottle of oil is potently wonderful, natural stuff; however, just make sure you check them out individually, as I know you can't ingest Wintergreen! The caps tighten and don't leak even when they tip over when I carry them in my purse, they're small and stock easily in my bathroom or bedroom, and each comes with a little stopper installed in it so you can get out a drop at a time, or you can remove it to have access to pouring the oils for larger recipes.I loved this kit because it provides you with a good 10 ml sample of the most popular oils on the market--- Lavender, Orange, Mandarin, Wintergreen, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, and Lemongrass--- which allows them to be within my reach if I stumble upon a new idea in my research to incorporate these oils as much as possible into my everyday life. I've used the Tea Tree for my acne-prone skin, the Lavender to calm myself and my dogs to sleep more naturally, the Lemongrass for insect repellent as I go on a lot of hikes, the Mandarin and Orange in my diffuser to uplift my moods, and Peppermint and Eucalyptus for my bubble baths as a stress relief blend. And seriously, that doesn't even touch on everything you can do with these--- you can add a few drops to your water to detox your body, put them in a diffuser for more natural scents to fill your room rather than chemical plug-ins or candles (I bought these 12 New, High Quality, Amber 2 ml (5/8 Dram) Glass Bottles, with Orifice Reducer and Black Cap. to pre-make recipes to just pour in), or you can blend them together for massage oils or other "do it yourself" skin care products like body butter, lotions, face wash and masks, and bubble baths. I can simply take a whiff of Peppermint Oil from the bottle before going for a run, and it actually pushes me to be excited about working out, something I really struggle with, and since I'm pretty introverted, the Orange Oil always gets me rearing to go when I go to a friend's house where I know there will be a lot of people. If I had little ones, there would be scheduled diffuser playdates with some essential oil blends for a far more natural way to calm down the wild kiddos and get them to nap.... just an idea, hahaha.To go more into my favorites--- Wintergreen, Lavender, and Tea Tree Oils--- these are the ones I'm into the most for every day use, so I'll be purchasing more of these soon and I really plan to stay with this brand since I've been so pleased with them. I go for Wintergreen for my dog's arthritis to massage into her back leg muscles, which absolutely calms her down and helps her muscles untighten and relax (better than any opioids or pain meds that just make her sleep all day from the vet), as well as to bring down the swelling on my Mom's currently broken foot each day after work (she has a spiral fracture in the middle of her foot on her middle toe, so anything cooling helps). I even read online that one drop of Wintergreen Oil is equal to 21 tablets of aspirin when applied to the surface of the skin, so it's REALLY good pain relief stuff without the gross side effects (and you don't even need a prescription for it!). Secondly, in a little over a month, I've already used half of my bottle of Tea Tree Oil, as I have very acne-prone skin, and I could go on literally for days about how well it works--- it heals my acne better than ANY OTHER treatment product from Clean & Clear or Zapzyt I've ever used (which contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid), which just dry my face out and take days longer to heal. I also place a few drops of it in my bathtub for extra skin care and antibacterial exfoliating properties, which makes my skin so much softer and shinier after bathing than if I didn't use it. And for Lavender, I've diffused it with a lot of the oils, as well as Sweet Almond Oil as a carrier oil to make it go farther (which I'll go into more later in this review), as well as added a few drops to my Australian Shepherd and Catahoula Hound's bedding to chill them out since they're outside dogs and want to bark at anything that moves in the middle of the night. Altogether, I've used a combination of a few of each of them to put in my diffuser each day to uplift my mood, to allow me to focus and get more into my studying and reading, or promote calm to get ready for bed.Just a little note: if you do buy this starter kit, make sure that you also buy other elements of getting started up with your essential oils, like pipettes to extract the oils from their original bottles (I bought SEOH Glass Droppers Pipettes 4 inch pack of 12), as well as a carrier oil (base of your recipe with a few drops of essential oils) like Sweet Almond Oil (which I bought from NOW Foods Almond Oil, 4 Ounce), Avocado Oil, or Jojoba Oil, because a lot of them need to be diluted in order to use them. Basically, after getting into all the recipes and blends I could make, I realized there wasn't really a way to put everything together without the proper other "equipment" if I wanted to do it like a pro and without excess spillage. Further, know that you have to purchase a specific kind of bottle to put your oils in when you blend them, because since they're undiluted, they can can actually melt cheap plastic or strip the finish off certain surfaces--- this unfortunately includes our couch, where I've already added some character with a few darker dots of wintergreen... so be careful with that if you're accident prone like me! Since they're so potent as well, the majority of the single use recipes only require a few drops of each oil, which is where your carrier oil comes into play, so even though these starter kit bottles are only a tiny 10 ml, they will totally last a while as long as you're not making a huge batch of something (which then it would obviously be better to buy larger bottles rather than this gift set of sample sizes, but I'm sure you know that!).***And just to be completely clear--- though I've added a few notes of other things you should probably buy with this product, I absolutely don't want to discourage anyone from purchasing, but I like to know what I'm getting into when I embark upon something like this, so I wanted to add it to my review as well. To make up for the extra products you have to buy to get really into it, the payoff of the completely natural, holistic, 100% pure grade of these oils have completely changed my life... I know people say that, but it's real. Just the Wintergreen Oil alone has changed my dog's life and allowed her to even start running around our yard again after barely being able to get up our deck steps, and the confidence I've gained after a year of severe adult acne and wasting money on almost every acne product on the market versus the results I've gotten from the Tea Tree Oil is truly priceless.All in all, this is an absolutely FANTASTIC price for what you get, as a lot of the sample gift packs you find on Amazon only include six bottles of oils at the same price and don't include the Wintergreen, which was my main need for the massage oils I make. If you're looking for a great starter pack for someone, even yourself, this is the one to go for. I bought these because I was struggling with stuffy nose, the scents are very potent. I even use them for my children’s humidifier. Just this morning my son had a potty accident and the smell filled the room, I put on the humidifier with one of the scents and in 30 mins the smell was gone. Highly recommend, especially for its price.

I am not an essential oil guru, nor do I follow any of the alleged claims that are made. With that said, I am crazy about the peppermint oil. I put a drop or two in my hand sanitizer and it makes that smell much better. I put a cotton ball with peppermint oil in the vacuum bag before I clean and the whole house smells like mint. I put a drop or two in the bath (be carefull - applying directly to skin is a no-no). I actually started buying the big bottle of NOW drops at my grocery store for 1/2 price. The other scent I like is patchouli - I put cotton balls with it in my underwear drawer so I can have a 60's experience when I get dressed.
