Plush, thick and heavy
The two best linens you can buy, if you can afford them are, first: Egyptian cottin. Second, Turkish cotton. But Turkish products, guns, textiles, steel, etc, are somewhat less expensive while being if very good quality. Turkey is really coming up on the global market as a known entity for high quality manufactured goods at reasonable prices. AND, thay are staunch allies of the United States. Now,about these towels. I was thrilled when I washed them and dried them. I followed the laundering instructions, and they came out nice and fluffy and absorbent without using ant softening agents. I only used some scent crystals in the was water to give the bathroom a fresh smell from the towels as they lay stacked and folded in there. I now have a fully matched set, and gave away all my old mismatched bath linens to my son. You've got to get these. They're not that expensive. And properly cared for, should last you a few decades. Seriously.

Thick, soft & luxury.
I absolutely love these towels! They certainly lived up to the positive reviews too. I laundered them as I do all my laundry. I use a name brand, original powder detergent. Then vinegar in the final rinse. And the finale was using wool dryer balls I had previously bought on Amazon. The results were very soft and fluffy towels! They definitely shed quite a bit while drying and take a bit more time. Which I totally expected, so it's not a negativeThese towels were true to the color I ordered. Zero faults in the fabric or sewing. Incredibly absorbent and fast drying. I got two 4 packs and you can't beat the price! These are luxurious towels without the high price tag.

Color a bit different
The Moss green color was not as vibrant as it looked online...more like an olive color. I washed them with a white towel and the color didn't run but there was a good amount of green lint in the dryer. Hope that won't continue and degrade the towel. Fairly absorbent. Nice size.

Turkish towel sets
These towel sets were ordered with embellishments They are beautiful and are exactly as described, very nice !!! If you appreciate Turkish towels that are thick and fluffy I highly recommend you purchase these. Well worth the expense.Have not washed them yet, will cont….If they do not wash well, I suspect they will be just fine from past experience, old Turkish towels are over twelve yrs old.

Amazing!
These are great towels. Well made. Original set purchased 6 years ago. No fraying...no holes just slightly lighter in color. Purchased this new set because they were on sale. These towels are thick, so you cannot dry on sensor...you must time dry to thoroughly get them dry. You will not regret this purchase.

A hand towel shrank 1.75" in length
The Cranberry color is perfect, and it didn't bleed into white things washed in the same load. An equivalent group of towels weighs the same as my old Fieldcrest towels which absorb water about like gym towels. The Chakir towels have a higher nap (loop height), so presumably, they'll be more absorbent. But when I washed a hand towel in cool water, it shrank 1-3/4" in length (almost 6%). Virtually no shrinkage in width, but these hand towels are significantly narrower than the Fieldcrest towels and look wimpy on my towel bar. The hand towels are listed as 16 x 30, but the still-unwashed hand towel is actually 15-1/2 x 31 -- a half inch narrower than advertised and an inch longer. Bad quality control or do they anticipate the lengthwise shrinkage? Also the towel suffered a quite noticeable but very typical shrinkage along the horizontal bands and along the hems. Will towel manufacturers ever solve that annoying problem?I plan to buy another set or two and compare; will likely return these.

Just what I was looking for.
Soft and fluffy new and after washing. (I followed the instructions and did not use drier sheets.) I chose them for two reasons: 1) Price was great, and 2) I purposely looked for towels that had very little decorative stitching. That kind may look pretty hanging on the towel rod but it always turns a good portion of the towel flat and unabsorbent rather than fluffy and absorbent. These just have a small strip of decorative stitching so do a great job absorbing to dry you fast. I also have some in the hand towel size. All I have to do is put my hand on the towel and the water is sucked away. I love them.

These towels are the “real deal”.
I wanted genuine “Turkish” towels and initially bought a pack of four to try them out. After using them for a few weeks the towels exceeded my expectations and I ordered four more. They are really nice towels and the more they’re washed, the fluffier and more absorbent they become. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a quality, well made towel.
