Amara Full Face Mask Headgear, Standard

I’m so happy to have found this headgear. This has two way stretch for comfort, just like the original that wore out. Yes, my old one stretched out eventually, I’d rather be comfortable and perhaps replace it more often, although the original lasted me over 2 years with occasional hand wash and air dry. They discontinued the original model headgear and I wasted money buying two other headgears until I found this one. Heaven!! I’m ordering a second as a back up. I will say it’s on the large side. I do have a big head I think for a women. The Velcro tabs make it very adjustable. I’m using it with a full face ResMed Mirage Quattro mask and just reusing the clips since the headgear is only the fabric piece. The straps are thinner than my old one, but I like that because my mask makes me hot and this now provides a little relief.

My old CPAP headband was long overdue and was falling apart. This headband not only came much sooner than I expected, it went with my generic mask perfectly and fit better than the headband that originally came with it. It also fit the plastic mask clips to hold the mask to my face. I highly recommend getting it if in a clutch.

I was a little concerned that this headgear (since it has no strap at the top of the head) would shift and move around a lot while sleeping. But it fits well and keeps my mask in place. I would purchase this product again.

The headgear piece I order was labeled for Respironics. I don't think it actually was.The item I received was at least 2x larger than any other headpiece I have purchased. It did not include the magnet clips.Don't purchase this item unless you have a head the size of Shrek.

4 stars because the materials could be better but otherwise....This was by far the best price. Our local store wanted $63 for the exact same headgear!I mean, who can complain when you are saving that much on the same thing? I think we paid $18 with shipping.... so now that we know it fits and is a direct replacement, we are going to order another one for a backup. \Cheers, God Bless

I mistakenly purchased this thinking it as for the amara view face mask but saw my mistake after I received it. Surprisingly though it fits better than the actually headgear for the amara view! I kid you not! I haven't had to adjust it much and there's no shifting when I sleep. I move alot when I sleep and every morning it's still in the same spot.

This isn't my first of these. I've been using the associated mask for a long time and have replaced this part numerous times. I was thrilled to see when they moved to the magnetic closure. Made life a little easier when getting up at night. I've never had an issue until my last one.The Velcro on the side straps doesn't hold well. It comes apart during the act of placing it over my head. All the time. And it's super annoying. I've also had it come apart during the night. I'm not stretching the straps very far and I'm not doing anything any different from the previous incarnations of this strap. I'm about due for another one. I hope it's better than my current one.

I got this as a replacement for my husband's old headgear. Exact match, no problems. You do have to buy the clips separately but I knew that before purchasing and he just used the old clips that came off of his old headgear.
