Caraloc 640 Front with Standard Barrel & Keys Caravan Door Lock

Q: Is this for left hand or right hand

It was fitted on the left hand side facing the door outside. Worked perfectly.

Q: Does anyone know how I can get this lock to work, I am now on my 3rd one and none of them lock.the key just turns about a centimetre then stops.

Try slackening the screws off a bit, if they are done up a bit tight the lock won't normally turn.

Q: what is the diameter of the lock i think i need 100mm

Yeah, It's about that. Be carefull, I didn't get a key and had to buy a new barrel. Cost as much as the unit itself.

Q: How easy isit to fit?

If its just a straight replacement this lock I found was very easy to fit peace of cake
