I had students beg for these books so I finally bought them for the mobile library this summer. They were checked out every week and I had one student read ALL of them. Thanks for writing books that kids love to read.

Our son got these books for his birthday and loves them. He has read each book at least 3 times.

These were pretty great value for money in terms of the quality of the print. They are color with fairly think paper. My kid loves the stories and the mix of illustrations and text. But the bindings are fragile. We had two books break going into school. Just super glued the cover back into the pages and were all set. Would definitely still buy again. Great for kiddos who love minecraft and are just about to reach chapter books reading levels, because there's enough funky large font and pictures mixed in to build confidence with chapter books. But not so much to count as a picture book or graphic novel.

I bought this for my 12 year old grandson for his birthday in November. He wasn’t sure he would like it, but once he started the first one, he couldn’t put it down. His parents said he read through the whole set and was eager for more. I got him the next book in the series for Christmas, and he was thrilled!

My 9 year old son is addicted to graphic novels. It’s all he’ll read. I found the 8 bit warrior series book 5 at a local goodwill and thought I would give it a shot since he loves minecraft. We quickly realized that you must start this series with book 1- so I rented it from our local library. My son was so engulfed in this book! Then to top it off- the author was brilliant enough to leave a cliff hanger. This left my son clamoring to get his hands on book 2. I decided at this point, since we already owned book 5, to purchase this box set. Thank you for getting my son off the graphic novels for a few weeks!!
